Volume 32 of Aroideana (2009) presents a diverse array of Araceae research from rediscoveries and taxonomic revisions to developmental and functional studies. The issue opens with the long‑awaited rediscovery of Pycnospatha palmata and a detailed monograph of the genus Zomicarpella, followed by the first Thai records and comprehensive treatment of Pothos in Thailand, alongside a survey of Araceae in Reserva La Planada, Colombia. Subsequent articles describe new Caladium and Amorphophallus species from India, seedling development in Arisaema wrayi, systematic pollen analyses, flowering variation in Arum maculatum, insights into aroid collections, and a critical review of Cryptocoryne of Peninsular Malaysia.
