I have found it in Acre and it is a nice plant, with strap-like leaves. There is also a very well-grown plant in Burle-Marx collection at Rio de Janeiro. I haven?t seen it growing anywhere else. +More Philodendron williamsii seems to be endemic to Bahia state, but the plants commonly seen in cultivation under this name are mostly an undescribed species (from Espirito Santo state), to be published soon. I have not seen true P. williamsii in cultivation, but the other species has very narrow leaves. Both are huge self-headers and will grow like monsters if you allow them.
