hi everybody,
i just got back from a wonderful week in SF. i saw this plant, family
Restionaceae, at a shop. can anyone tell me more about it? is this a good
plant to grow? does anyone grow it? i have never heard of this family
before.

at the Orchids in the Park sale, one vendor had several gaudy anthurium
cultivars, including a huge Anthurium scherzerianum 'Rotschildianum' sample
plant with lots of those huge spathes (white with orange spots) and long
curly spadices. there were none for sale because someone got there very
early and bought all 40 plants for sale!!!! i ended up buying a red Anth.
