Propagation of Amorphophallus from leaflet cuttings
From: markdim at azstarnet.com (Mark A. Dimmitt) on 1999.04.08 at 13:32:32(3245)
I haven't tried petiole sections, but I did take a number of leaflet-tip
cuttings in January 1998 from freshly-matured leaves (after someone else on
this list reported a not-quite successful attempt). All callused and rooted
readily. One of the two clones never sprouted a leaf. Two of the six
cuttings of the other clone have sprouted leaves and made tubers. It took a
full year, as long as germinating seeds. One cutting made three leaves and
tubers though.
