P.S.: If succeeding, I'd be interested in a trade.... ;-)

Hi Bernhard,
Nope, infundi is barren, as are the others of this group, unless the tuber splits/falls apart of old age.

Hi Wilbert,
yes, you are of course right - I found your article....
A Review of the White-flowered Amorphophallus (Araceae:Thomsonieae) Species in Sarawak P.C. BOYCE 1, 2, I.B. IPOR 2 AND W.L.A. HETTERSCHEID 3
I grow nihaensis, brachyphyllus and eburneus as well, but not infundibuliformis yet.....
I guess your remark would be confirmed by Lord P.(hyllogenetic), too.....
Happy classifying, Bernhard.
P.S.: Does infundibuliformis grow offsets? If so, would anyone trade one?

More phylogenetically correct is that it belongs to the group of eburneus-brachyphyllus-niahensis, a wet group.
Cheers,
Wilbert

Hi Wilbert,
OK, I thought in that direction...... So it belongs to the group gigas, decus-silvae etc that do not like to be stored bone dry....
Thanks, Bernhard.

Amorphophiles,
would someone know the right storage conditions for Amorphophallus juliae ( not julaihii ! )?
My specimen was sold by Malesiana-Tropicals in 2006 under the name A. spec. Bintulu...
During dormancy bone dry or in light damp substrate / sphagnum???
I'd be thankfull for enlightenment...
Happy posting, Bernhard.
