One sneaky detail to watch out for is that they tend to open overnight with the spathe starting to pull away just after dark and opening fully overnight. As far as I know it's the first for Victoria, only the 4th or 5th for Australia, and while not up to full scale, it's pretty impressive for a first timer! Any predictions on the opening?
