Isn't it interesting that a fair percentage of this modest list is
familiar, fans even, of these two jolly folks from 50 years ago! It's
somewhat an age thing and a little not, since younger people may not
have ever been exposed, but I know of many folks my age who haven't a
clue about who these guys are. One might postulate that a certain
mental construct leans one toward both F & S type songs and growing
fancy plants. Too many variables to prove one way or another, but fun
to think about.
By the way, the Madeira song is sort of on the edge.
