The harder ones to propagate are those that are few-clumping or solitary, in particular species in the Asperata complex which predictably have the most attractive foliage. But not all is bad news. One thing we have been witnessing is that quite a number of species of these solitary ore few-offsetting species regenerate in the wild from the leaves. Some even produce plantlets on the leaf backs.
