I got a hold of Mike yesterday. A really nice guy! he quit his academic li fe to become a farmer. He has asked to be informed about the next West Coas t IAS meeting, and plans on attending.

Take a look at the early history of the IAS, especially the early history o f Aroideana. Mike is a prominent figure in the early days of the IAS. Any thing you can do on your end would be much appreciated.
