Dear Vic,
Not to start a race here for the true identity but the leaf IS that of the
purple P. ternata (a colour condition well known in this species in the
wild in China, where this clone also comes from). Also notice the bulbils,
which is a character alien to P. tripartita. The cultivar P. 'Polly Spout'
of WeDu (the possible hybrid of tripartita and pedatisecta) has 5-parted
leaves.
