  [Aroid-l] Anthurium?? Pothos??
From: crogers at ecoanalysts.com (Christopher Rogers) on 2008.07.22 at 18:35:39(18217)

Okay, I have a plant that I am convinced is in the subfamily Pothoideae. The
lactifers are absent, the flowers are dioecious, the inflorescence with a
reflexed spathe limb. I am inclined to think that this plant is an
Anthurium, but the stems are woody, and the inflorescences come from the
leaf axils, sort of like Pothos (which I have never seen except in
pictures). The leaf petioles are not flattened (explanate) but I know not
all Pothos have that as a character (P. beccarianus).

I grew this from cuttings taken from a plant at UC Davis. The parent plant
is labeled as ?Philodendron scandens? which it obviously is not. Anyone have
any clue what this might be?

Thank you to all!

Christopher
