Folks,
I grow these plants: LYCOPODIUM and I keep that name. It is familiar to fern and non-fern people alike (even though these plants are fern allies. But, that is about to change too. Taxonomists are trying to move many of the fern allies into true ferns). People generally know what you are talking about when you mention the name Lycopodium. If you don't mind changing your plant tags every now and then, then use Huperzia. You will be understood, no matter what.
