MessageSherry, appears you missed our discussion with Dr. Croat last year over that species. P. micans, P. oxycardium, P. scandens and a bunch of others are now all considered Philodendron hederaceum. I accepted that with no problem close to a year ago when Dr. Croat explained it all in detail. My problem with this one was the high gloss leaves. But I can see now it too is just a part of Philodendron hederaceum. Just in case you missed it, here's a link which includes a bunch of Tom's information.

Hi everyone,
I thought Philodendron hederaceium was better known as P.'Micans'. It is velvety and has a slight bronzy cast to the leaves.
