Subject: Re: [Aroid-l] Kalabenono Amoorphophallus petiole variations
Sorry Ken and all others on aroid-l for my forgetting to mention that I was referring the the Unnamed species from Madagascar that have been recently sold on eBay by Out of Africa.
Two have recently emerged from dormancy and more are on the way.
There was just in my opinion a great amount of variation between the two that have fully emerged from dormancy that I was wondering if others have noticed such variation.
I have another that is just now emerging from the (bracts?) that surround the Petiole as it emerges from the soil, and the bracts look almost exactly the same shade and markings as the darker spotted petioled Amorph in the pictures.
thanks, John.

John,
Which species are you finding variations in? Some species are extremely
variable and some not so much. And then there's the occasional sport
that looks very, very different. I also have to admit that I don't know
what "Kalabenono" is. Is that a location?
