[Aroid-l] Zerotol is not Hydrogen Dioxide
From: ted.held at us.henkel.com on 2007.02.05 at 15:44:37(15221)
Just for the record, people, there is
no such thing as hydrogen dioxide as a compound in normal circumstances.
Zerotol is, in fact, just a stabilized form of hydrogen peroxide, H2O2,
being schlepped as a benign microbicide. I would venture to say that most
H2O2 sold these days is stabilized. In the old days, the H2O2 you bought
in the drug store would go flat in short order, especially if kept too
warm or in the sun. Now it is active for a long time, i.e. stabilized.
The Zerotol MSDS gives no indication of the active concentration of peroxide.
But it's just hydrogen peroxide.

Ted.
