Dear Julius, Dear Wilbert,
without intending to interfere in a personal dispute, I am glad to read
that the differences on that topic are cleared!
( And I will overlook the unqualified remark by J on the only relevant
aroids with continetal generosity and leniency...)
BUT, my dear Lord P(ropagator), I have to contradict to your opinion.
At least to me it is not unimportant wether A.t. produces offsets or
not.

If it would, many more people could cultivate this interesting plant (I
mean people other than J.) and I could stop my humble attempts in tissue
culturing A.t. immediately!
(I guess we agree that forced splitting of a plant is not what we call
propagation (in big numbers) in horticulture...)
BTW, are you aware that the triple flower titanum in Bonn has it's
origin in the tissue cultures of Prof. Kohlenbach in 1986 and came to
the Bonn Botancal Garden in 1988?
Good growing,
Bernhard.
