I looked at your fine pictures and noticed that the Amorphs are all in the ground. Do you have a nematode problem, or any other bulb rotting problems in Orlando? Do you leave all of the tubers in the ground? I live in Delray Beach and have been growing in tubs, but would rather grow in the ground , if it would work. Eric,
I've never seen an Amorph. koratensis with a smooth petiole, so if the
choices are between that and palawanensis then I vote for the latter.

Please help ID this Amorphophallus, I don't know if it
is A. karotensis or A. palawanensis. There was lots of
downed tree branches in the bed where this is growing
after the 3 hurricanes that struck last year. When the
debris was removed so were the signs and accession
tags. The plants are about 3 1/2 ft. tall and the
petioles are smooth. Here are some photos;
