This is Docket no. 3-069-1, which was originally published on December 10, 2004. The notice of a thirty-day extension, ending April 11th, will be published tomorrow in the Federal Register. You can find it at: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/ppd/rad/webrepor/ppq.html I hope that many of you will take the extra opportunity to send in your comments. Especially helpful will be clear reasoning supported by personal experience, written in a civil manner. APHIS will respond to your concerns where they are clearly stated; they can't be expected to respond to a diffused general rant against government intrusion. It would also be helpful to our cause to get the word to smaller nurseries and organizations, who either are not online, or are too busy with their livelihoods to keep up with regulatory matters. However, since these regulations will matter to their businesses, please help them express their needs and concerns to APHIS.
