I think that the easiest way to find out what is best for any plants optimum
health and vigor is to study where the plant grows in it's native homeland.
Climate: Soils? Rainfall? Temp?, Humidity levels? Deeply wooded? Edge of
woods? etc. etc. If you can replicate those conditions as much as possible,
you will be more successful in growing that particular plant

It seems like I am hearing anywhere from deep shade to an entire day of
direct sun.. I do understand that it will depend on the variety. I know that
bulbifer is more sensative to sun than konjac is.
