I found that soaking them overnight in warm water with a couple drops
of Physan 20 (a disinfectant soap) seemed to plump things right up.
I don't know if this has any effect on their viability though.

I understand from a few reacions to the Amorph shipments that some
species
of which we had only very small offsets, arrived desiccated. I'm sorry
to
hear that. There has been some considerable delay after harvesting and I
guess that might have caused it. We will try to get things out sooner
next
time.
