Barbara,
Without the benefit of a proper pathology test and report,
my educated guess from your image is that your Colocasia
may be showing symptoms of some type of bacterial
infection. Again, it is difficult to determine this from
an image only, but small necrotic spots surrounded by a
yellow halo pathology may be indicative of bacterial leaf
pathogens. You might take a sample to your local extension
service and ask them to send it to your state lab for
analysis to determine exactly the pathogen.
Have you sprayed with any pesticides or other chemicals
recently? The other possibility is a phyto toxic response
to a chemical application. The symptomology of certain
types of phytotoxicity can be similar to bacterial leaf
pathogenesis.
Please keep us posted about the problem. I agree with
Susan Cooper: Your garden is beautiful!
Regards, Scott
