Edible rhizomes: ginger (Zingiber officinale), galangal (Alpinia galanga, A.
officinarum) and laos (Kaempferia spp.).
Edible corms: chinese water cestnut (Eleocharis dulcis) and arrow leaf
(Sagittaria spp.).
