Great idea! Certainly the Amorphophallus collection in Leiden gave me a great many thrills, though I didn't connect with Wilbert there. I had sought suggestions for Tokyo and delighted in the collection in the Greenhouse at the Shinjuku Gyoen Park, which I visited during cherry blossom time. Unfortunately the greenhouse is being reconstructed, opening again in 2011. Other suggestions in Tokyo are welcome...
Clear skies,
Al
One idea that I have been trying to flesh out needs help: I thought that an
article dealing with a possible destination area telling aroiders where to
go to see good collections of living material might be very helpful;
I have had notes on the following (thank you Tom and Marek). Can anyone else
help?
