Great idea!=A0 Certainly the Amorphophallus collection in Leiden gave me a great many thrills, though I didn't connect with Wilbert there.=A0 I had sought suggestions for Tokyo and delighted in the collection in the Greenhouse at the Shinjuku Gyoen Park, which I visited during cherry blossom time.=A0 Unfortunately the greenhouse is being reconstructed, opening again in 2011.=A0 Other suggestions in Tokyo are welcome...
Clear skies, Al
One idea that I have been trying to flesh out needs help: I thought that an article dealing with a possible destination area telling aroiders where to go to see good collections of living material might be very helpful;
I have had notes on the following (thank you Tom and Marek). Can anyone else help?
UK =A0 Edinburgh, Kew, The Living Rainforest,
Western Europe and Scandinavia =A0 =A0Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Goteborg, Lyon, Munich, Nancy , Vienna
More Easterly =A0Leningrad, Moscow, Teplice, Vroclav
