Here in NY, the few species I grow (konjac, koratensis, bulbifer, henryi,
paeoniifolius) seem to thrive in full sun, but ACCLIMATING them to sun after
starting indoors is quite another story.
Amorph Blues indeed!!!

Even after moving them gradualy from shade to sun over a two week period
they sometimes burn.

This may not help those whose tubers wake up earlier than mine do,
but I put mine outside to acclimatize as soon as a nose starts to
break soil - before they leaf out - so by the time the leaves start
to unfurl, they are used to being in what passes for sun for me.
