The plants on this page have tentatively been classified as A. putii. This is based on a personal communication to me by Jin Murata. There are difficulties with the holotype material chosen by Gagnepain in describing this species.

It appears that a large part of the type material is in fact A. fimbriatum. It may well be that the plants here are therefore better not identified as A. putii but either A. album or a new species altogether.
