Zantedeschia "Hercules" |
 |
My wife and I have found this small grove of huge callas growing in San Francisco's Strybing Arboretum.
After some detectve work done by Sean O'Hara,
it turned out that the records of the Strybing
Arboretum show that this plant originated from
Western Hills Nursery in Occidental, CA, and is called simply Zantedeschia "Hercules".
It is likely to have Z. aethiopica as a parent if it is a hybrid.

The spathes are huge and held at about 6 ft. height... |
