Emerging flower, about a week before actually blooming.

The inflorescence lasted about 2 and a half weeks before apparently deciding to set seed.
It's earthy smell was difficult to qualify as either pleasant or not.

Same specimen, two months later, at sunset.
|

A couple of remusatias growing in my greenhouse, with a Xanthosoma mixed in as well. When vieved from below, the leaves show some purplish variegation.
