Origin of the plant in the photos: Wilbert Hetterscheid's collection, ID# H.AR. 062
The tuber appeared to be dead on arrival after shipping. I potted what I thought to be dead vegetable matter, and, surprise, surprise, it sprouted together with another miraculous survivalist, Pseudodracontium lacourii.
