Thanks Mick it does appear to be T. Blumei.
Is it common for this species to produce pinkish coloured pollen?

Several species of Typhonium produce pink colored pollen.....see:
http://www4..ncsu.edu/~alan/plants/aroids/typhoniums/
for some examples.
