  repotting philodendrons
From: REDRAGON40 at aol.com on 2010.04.25 at 18:50:20(20919)
Hi there,
I would really appreciate some feedback to my previously posted questions.

1. In repotting some velvet philodendrins, is African violet potting mix a
good idea, or is there a better mix? 2. Also, is there a preferred way to
fertilize them, or is standard old Miracle Gro mix ok.

I apologize for the newbie questions.

Carol, Emily Colletti at the Missouri Botanical Garden is the absolutebest to answer your question. If you will visit this link and scrolldown to Growing and Watering Philodendron you will find the basic mixEmily taught me to use.
