Folks,
Just wanted to let you know that through the generosity of Mike Madison and the untiring efforts of Steve Lucas and Christopher Rogers, we have been allowed to make available to International Aroid Society members three of Mike's old Aroid papers, newly scanned as searchable PDF files. The papers are on Caladium and its Allies, Monstera, and Palmate Anthurium species.
The papers are available in the members section of aroid.org at http://www.aroid.org/member/ , and if you've forgotten your login information, it's in your latest newsletter announcement e-mail ( December ). If you are having problems, please feel free to contact me privately.
Speaking of the newsletter, it will be sent out early next week and includes a great article on Alocasia breeding by LariAnn Garner ... plus stay tuned for more books and papers to be made available on the site shortly.
