Anthurium dressleri - Seed Distribution

If you would like a couple, please send your name and mailing address OFF THE LIST to amh@ieee.org Anthurium dressleri is fairly uncommon in cultivation - it needs cooler nights than you get in south Florida, for instance. It has a dark green - almost black velvety leaf blade, especially stunning when grown under lower light conditions. About the first 10 people to respond will receive a few berries - seeds should be removed from berries and planted in long fiber sphagnum moss. Priority will be given to members of the IAS, contributors to this list, and people who have sent me material in the past. This does bring up the opportunity to tell people that the seeds were all mailed out on Tuesday, and should be arriving soon. If I e-mailed you privately, you're getting seed. If not, I probably did not receive your request. I was luckily able to fulfill all requests received ... though just barely. The seeds are from a plant that I obtained at the IAS Show and Sale in Miami as a seedling many years ago. I grow them fairly cool, well misted, and in low light under a bunch next to the swamp cooler.
