I have a couple of questions about pollinating Anthurium scherzerianum.
What is the apporximate timing between the opening of male and female flowers?
Can one succesfully self individuals of this species assuming pollen is available at the right time?
Thanks,

Dear Phil:
If you are successfully growing this plant I would appreciate any cultural tips you can provide.
Thanks,
Ed

Ed:
I'm lucky in that I have areas where I can grow it between 1600 and 2400 meters in the Medellin area of Colombia. It appears to be adapted to at least part of this elevation range. The 1600 meter location in Medellin its self might be the most challenging. I have not yet attempted it.
