G'day everyone,
I picked this up the other day but doesn't look like the species. Someone has suggested S pictus 'Exotica'. Can anyone confirm or deny, or tell me if it something different?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ed

'allo, Mate,
Your plant (I looked at the photos) is undoubtably Scindapsis pictus. It is pictured on plate 63 of Deni Bown`s fantastic book on aroids. She says it occurs from Java to Borneo, other names are ''satin pothos'' and silver vine. The more robust form is often sold as S. siamense, this form has larger and thicker leaves leaves with more silver blotches. I had seen this plant sold from one nursery here in S. Florida about a year ago, it was used A LOT as a hanging pot at a major Hotel on Palm Beach.
I hope this helps.
Julius

Hello,
It may be Scindapsus pictus 'Argyraeus' or a quite different species I don't know.
