Philodendron stenolobum splitting into 2 heads ..

Nothing new as I have seen dozens flowering and full of seeds at Whyanbeel. But what got my attention , while I was trimming of some of the older leaves, was the fact that the meristem had split into two . This plant is only a few years old , and one of my own seedlings . It has been planted out for approx 2 years and has maybe 30 cms of stem. It will be a few months before both of the new leaves will open up and mature to be certain both new stems will thrive . This is not a common occurence I think . Pictures will be taken and posted here eventually. Hello Mate, Just a quick note--this plant seems a little immature for this split, but splitting at the meristem is in fact seemingly fairly common in Meconostigmas (and other Philodendrons and aroids in general), I have seen it several times in several species, and at the time did not really take note of it as being anything especially notable or ''strange''.
