Oh oh, Bernhard, that's not you is it? I just thought the ebay name of the seller was funny. But I guess Wilbert is Lord P, not Lord T!!"StroWi@t-online.de" wrote: Susan, what's wrong with that???At least it's a known species, isn't it?http://aroid.org/genera/amorphophallus/glossophyllus/Best,Bernhard.-----Original Message-----> Date: Sat, 09 Jun 2007 15:06:06 +0200> Subject: [Aroid-l] Identity theft?> From: Susan B > To: Aroid L >http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item(0122230856&sspagenameME:L:RTQ:US:1> [1]> > Now, that's just wrong!_______________________________________________Aroid-l mailing

Sometimes the Ebay auctions that are ID’ed
wrong can be quite a find !! more than once I’ve got a very Rare
plant on Ebay that was not what the plant was as titled . plants worth hundreds
of dollars I got for less the 10 bucks … When you are on Ebay it’s
buyer beware !.......... BUT there are Some Ebay sellers that Id plants wrong
just to make newbies think the plant is new & rare ! Mike Mahan

I guess by the most recent posts that my post about Ebay does
not apply to this thread .. BUT it is still true that a Buyer must beware &
There are some real finds are on Ebay that are mistakenly ID’ed by
sellers …. .. I guess the “ mistaken “ Identity theft was the
seller not the plant That was a nice looking tuber by the way !! Mike

Hi Susan,

no, it's not me and it's not Lord P., but really Lord T.

And you can be not more sure about getting the right species from Lord
T.

If you run this:

http://www.bertholds-pflanzenwelt.de/hp_de/htdocs/index.htm

under google (watch this site in English) you will understand....

At ebay I am "only mr.titanum" and formerly gartenbauer.... ;-)

Good growing,
Bernhard.
