  Asian Symplocarpus
From: Graham Rice <garden at tiscali.co.uk> on 2007.05.09 at 11:09:47(15663)
Does anyone know any sources of plants or seed of the Asian species
of Symplocarpus?

So far I've found only Graham Birkin
(http://hellebores.hort.net/woodland-perennials.html)

Thanks,

Allbest,

Graham Rice

Hi, I posted this a few weeks ago and perhaps it is not relevant, but I
will let you decide. Both Janis Ruksans (collected in Camtschatka) and
Leonid Bondarenko (only listed as collected in the far east) sell
Symplocarpus so these are choices I would think.

Best of luck,

Dan

Hi,

I recall Asiatica Nursery at http://asiaticanursery.com/ offered
S.nipponicus. At the moment I couldn`t find it in on-line catalogue, but it
is worth to inquire at them. Good luck!

With regards, Marcin

On another topic, now that it is Summer here in South Florida, my wife would
like to get all of my dormant Amorphophallus pots out of the garage. Would I
loose them if I put the pots out where they get rained on? Should I keep
them moist in the garage? Ron Kessler ronlene@bellsouth.net

"Not found" - I've emailed hime about it although it's still ijn the
Google cache.

And thanks for the reminders about Janis Ruksans and Leonid Bondarenko, Dan.

I appreciate your help.

Graham
