Jelle
I’m glad that you are getting deeper into this,
although the next step is a big one. You can find the technical information of
the division into groups at this aroid-l site http://www.aroid.org/genera/anthurium/
Not easy reading, though, and I find that I’m not familiar
enough with the group to visualise the plants described by the authors without
hunting down pictures of examples.
Good luck
Derek

Thank you for your answer.
I've already visited Anthura in the Netherlands.
But I've got some specific questions for you. I 'm
interested in the taxonomic situation of the Anthurium.
I've also read that the Anthurium is devided in
sections. On what are these sections based? Do you have more
information about this item?
many thanks, Jelle

Jelle,
What a big subject you have chosen
for your final period of work! There is so much available on this that I
would not know where to start in helping you. Do you know the website of the
International Aroid Society, http://www.aroid.org/aroid_l/
I would suggest that you start there, and then come to us with some
specific questions. There is a wonderful company doing a lot of breeding work
in the Netherlands. Their website is at
http://www.anthura.nl/
Good luck with this work.
Derek Burch

Dear,
I'm Jelle Wouters, student horticulture in Leuven,
Belgium. I'm doing my last year middle school. As a last year
student I 've to make an end work. I've chosen as subject the Anthurium plant.
For the moment I am busy searching for the
origin and naming of this plant . After many searches I finally
arrived at some botanici like Mr. Heinrich Wilhelm Schott, Dr Croat, Linden,... I have already found much
information on this botanici. Tough I gladly want to have more
information regarding this botanici.
But, I'm also very interested in the
taxonomy, morfology, ect... of the Araceae.
I would be very greatfull
to obtain information about some of these people (there biography's,
books, works or drawnings ect,...) or information about the
genus/family.
Thank you in advance,
Jelle Wouters
Horticulture student
Belgium.
