Hi Alan,
I have a problem.... (quit laughing Weeks).
I can post from home (coops@execpc.com), but not from work. (slcooper@scj.com)
Looking below, I see my email as SLCooper etc, must be those capital
letters you were talking about.

I think we should all give a big round of applause to Steve Marak and Scott
Hyndman, moderators and listowners of Aroid-L. They did, and do, a great
job keeping things running smoothly.
I learned in Raleigh how organized Alan Galloway is. Although he already
has a lot on his plate with the newsletter, he'll do a great job as
listowner.
Thanks for all the hard work, guys

Aroiders,
By now you will have all realized that Aroid-L was down for quite some
time (over a week) and that it is now back up, and that some things are
different.
Since the beginning, we have run on a server at the Missouri Botanic
Garden in St. Louis. MoBot was kind enough to let us do this for about 10
years, and we are most grateful for that decade of support. We know that
supporting a listserver like ours is not the real mission of their
Information Systems people.
Recently, the server at MoBot which supported Aroid-L had to be taken out
of service for a rather lengthy upgrade, and we were asked if we could
find an alternative site to host Aroid-L for a few days.
Alan Galloway and his staff at NCSU have stepped up and offered us a home
there, and not just for the length of the outage at MoBot. They support a
large set of mail servers and a number of mailing lists and are ideally
equipped for this task, and so we've said yes. (We've also twisted Alan's
arm to become a third Aroid-L listowner.) As you've gathered, he and his
team have been busy moving everyone over.
This was all done very hurriedly (mostly by Alan!) so please bear with us
as the problems are resolved, oversights corrected, etc., over the next
few days.
As I get a chance, I will post several messages which came in for the
"old" Aroid-L and did not go out there.
Steve

Susan,
I have unsubscribed you as slcooper@scj.com and
resubscribed you as SLCooper@scj.com
And that should solve your problem.
And NO, I didn't laugh, it took us awhile to figure this out
and you did exactly what I needed done, you sent me the
headers so I could determine what to change your address to.
Thanks,
Alan
