Aglaonema in a Glass
|
From: "Petra Schmidt" petra at plantdelights.com> on 2001.10.24 at 21:40:08(7674)
I had Aglaonema stems sitting in a glass of water for well over a year...and
come to think of it, my very first houseplant was a little Philodendron
scandens vine that I planted inside the bell of my brass trumpet (I have
photos to prove this madness)...tough aroids.

Here there is a leaf & cut petiole of a Spathiphyllum cultivar in a vase in
deep shade indoors in the same water since late May this year & although it
shows no signs of roots it looks as well as when it was cut & placed there.
Peace Lilies & all other tough aroids never die!
Please would you like to write an article say on leaf propagation in aroids
or even something off-beat to kick off the 2002 News?
