Dormant Alocasias, Colocasias

Hilo Beauty. my experience in the past with these plants is that they tend to go dormant and never come up again. these 2 were large plants though and i'm hoping that they will sprout again. is there anything i can do (besides storing them dry) to encourage new growth? thanks.
