Hi everybody
attached are two images of Amorphophallus bulbifer (H.AM. 136) . Any ideas as to why it has a double spathe?

hi mike,
i'd like to add a similar oddity to your amorph. bulbifer. i vouchered 2
inflorescences of chlorospatha atropurpurea, one with 3 spadices and another
with 2 complete spathes, appearing at different flowerings. otherwise the
plant has flowered normally for several years and flowered normally afterward.
