Schismatoglottis kotoensis revisited
|

Peoples,
As I promised a short while ago, I looked for the reference where the new
combination Schismatoglottis kotoensis was published (to replace Colocasia
kotoensis). Here it is:

> Huang, T.-C., J.-L. Hsiao & H.-Y. Yeh, 2000. Schismatoglottis kotoensis
> (Hayata)T.C.Huang, J.L.Hsiao & H.Y.Yeh (Araceae). Taiwania 45(4): 305-310.
Although I am not a dull-aroid enthusiast (.......), I can see the point of
the authors. Nothing much Colocasia in that plant but very Schismatoglottoid
indeed.

Actually, you may be right. But there is a species of conifer, Taiwania cryptomerioides, the only species in a genus endemic to Taiwan. I saw some nice stands of it at Huisun Forest Reserve, in Nantou Prefecture.

Yes, Taiwania is a tree, a member of the Cupressaceae (formerly
Taxodiaceae); one species endemic to Taiwan with a second species endemic to
Yunnan.

Okay, now that's out of the way, I have a more pertinent question. I find that "interlibrary loan" is not always successful when it comes to the more obscure journals, but I need to read that article for my research. Can you point me down the right road with some clues that the interlibrary loan people can use?
