Hiyer!
Madison, in his revision of the genus (1977) lists Monstera borsigiana Engler, 1879 as a junior synonym of M. deliciosa=C2=A0 Liebmann, 1849.=C2=A0
I have no information on the other name.
Good luck! Christopher All
I have been =C2=A0getting more involved with a couple of Monstera species and I keep coming across names that seem not to have validity acccording to Kew=E2=80=99s =C2=A0The Plant List or Plants of the World. CAn anyone verify these names
1, borsigiana either as a species or subspecies of M. deliciosa ?=C2=A0 It is tossed around as if it were associated with some dwarf growing plant form.
2. M. karstenianum =C2=A0AKA Monstera =E2=80=98Ex Peru=E2=80=99.=C2=A0 This looks very unlike a Monstera species.=C2=A0 Does anyone know if it is valid or what it might refer to specifically?
Thanks and appreciate any input.=C2=A0 Jim W.=C2=A0
