Thanks Marek for your answer. i was thinking of melanochrysum because of this photo from the kew gardens that I found on the web. What do you think. Is the first one a verrucosum one ?

The leaves speak for a stylized Ph. verrucosum, but the colours of the inflorescence are exchanged - the spadix is red

Subject: [Aroid-l] help for identification of a philodendron

Hi

I am  a writer specialized in chocolate and keen on plants. I make an incursion in the flowers the most illustrated in meso-american iconography and I am trying to identify the philodendron of codex badianus. Is it a saggitifolium  (alias sanguineum) despite her leaves are indented or a melanochrysum but the inflorescence is not red ?

Thanks for your help and advice
