Hi All,
Payment by PayPal is fine, but there would be an additional
charge to cover the PayPal fee.
For those who are interested in participating in a group order,
please contact me off-list at rskusd@gmail.com.
Thanks!
Ron

Re: [Aroid-l] Ecuagenera List
Hi All,
I meant to post and get this back on track if enough people
are interested – looks like maybe 5 – 6.
Just need to clear up a little confusion. Alison asks Why a
group order, but Ron suggests that group orders would get a
better price
It would be great if Ron would be willing to do this for us.
I’ll make a list of the items in which I’m interested and
send it to him. If it happens, wonderful, but if not, so be
it. One question for Ron. If you can do this, could we pay
by PayPal?
Thanks,

Hi All,
I place group orders from Ecuagenera several times a
year and am very familiar with their aroid material. If
there's sufficient interest, I'd be happy to coordinate an
order and distribute plants to people. Because I've been
coordinating orders with Ecuagenera for a number of years
and have visited their nurseries, traveled with them in the
field to view aroids, etc., they provide us (the group) with
a discount that offsets the cost of transporting the plants
from Ecuador to the U.S. In other words, the group would
pay list price + domestic shipping costs (not too high,
typically; aroids are relatively light) rather than list
price plus the transportation costs from Ecuador (typically
$4+ per plant) and domestic shipping.

Hi Conrad, Don and All,
Why would you place a group order? They bring
everything
through and mail the orders.
As an importer - I love this - it's much faster and
easier, and the
sender doesn't have to get phyto certificates on several
different
orders - just the one they import.

Alison
