Well, the point I was trying to make is that publishers give you a better cost per copy if you are printing A LOT.
$70,000 for 6,000 copies is a good price. But when you only have 500 or less members $70.000 for 1000 copies is not a such a good price. I'm sure it's hard to find a publisher that will work with a small organization to put out a good journal at a decent price. I don't know how many members are in the IAS right now, I was just guessing at 500.
