Dear Jason,

Aloha.

I would email them privately to Dr.Tom Croat for ID at MOBOT.

Tom can direct you to someone who studies Cyclanthaceae.  He may even know those himself.

Aloha,

Leland

Subject: [Aroid-l] How to Approach ID

I recently returned from Ecuador, where I photographed a number of different aroid species in their natural habitat.  I have in mind to use the pictures in a piece for the IAS Newsletter, since this was in a botanically-unexplored area.  Because of this, I hesitate to post them on the ID Center, since that could create a conflict in publication rights.  What is the best way to try to obtain ID in such a case?  These aroids include the genera Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium, Dieffenbachia, one that I think may be a Caladium, and one of a genus I do not recognize.

On a related note, can anyone direct me to someone who knows the Cyclanthaceae?
