Hiyer, Ken and Jude!
=A0
I had one that grew nearly nonstop for several years. Then it went dormant for a year and a few months. I kept checking it for rot. Eventually it went back to growing like mad. Most of the plants I have grown have a definite dormant period of about three months.

Happy days,
Christopher

Jude, I'm surprised to hear that your Anchomanes has been dormant for a year.=A0 Have you checked on the tuber?=A0 Mine don't generally have a well defined dormancy and grow pretty much year-round if conditions are favorable.

I have one - I had a bunch, but they rotted from getting too cold and damp - but the one I have is about grapefruit sized (and the others were maybe twice that big) - Grows to about 10 feet tall. They definitely like it warmer - 70's and up. Mine has been dormant for at least one year now, and I am not sure why. I think if you google Anchomanes, you will find more info.=A0 Good luck!=A0
